Här är ett försök, även om det hade hjälpt med en utförligare beskrivning av kontexten. Jag förutsätter att gäller process·styrning i någon mening.

Nja, det handlar om vilka grundprinciper det finns inom "direkt manipulation" inom mdi. vad man ska tänka på när man utvecklar gränssnitt osv

Är "barf" verkligen ett ord?

Ja, lite paradoxalt så är det onomatopoetisk amerikanska, ett verb "to barf" = "to vomit" = att kräkas. Och motsvarande substantiv: en uppkastning.

Tänkte mer ett kort uttryck i stil med det engelska, gillar det som fan. Typ om man gör något snällt och personen tackar så vill man kunna slänga fram något liknande

Om man vill få fram att man bara tar några exempel, är det tydligt nog när man skriver "such as" följt av exemplen?
Ska man annars skriva "such as, for instance, ..." eller ska jag hålla mig till "for instance"/"for example"/"e.g."?

EDIT: Hoppas det är ok att använda den här tråden för snabba frågor i engelska. Jag försod inte riktigt om så var fallet.

Inte för att jag är admin/mod, men en fråga om engelska kan knappast vara för kort för att platsa här.

Det finns ännu fler uttryck för att ge exempel:

... say ... like X and Y ... and other Zs ... etc. ... and the like ...

Ju mer välskriven engelsk text man konsumerar, desto bättre känsla får man för vilken konstruktion som passar bäst. Ofta är det förstås bra att eftersträva omväxling. Konstruktionen ... say ... lämpar sig bara i ledig stil osv.

Hej! Har precis blivit inbjuden till en intervju för att bli antagen vid ett universitet utomlands, men tiden som de har föreslagit passar mig inte så bra. Undrar dels om uppbyggnaden av meddelandet är rätt (kan jag t ex skriva 'thrilled' där eller finns det ett bättre alternativ?) och om ni tycker att krock med arbetstider kan ges som giltig anledning för att få byta intervjutid.

Hej. Går tredje året på gymnasiet och håller på med engelska C och ska skriva en klassisk essay. Är ingen höjdare på engelska och skulle därför behöva lite hjälp med grammatiken och stavning osv. Siktar på ett VG så vore ju inga fel att få lite hjälp.

Is it not worth a little money then? I think so.

I mean, professional footballers have to endure great pressure from the media. They can not move around town like normal people, but have to put up with all those who want autographs, take pictures or just talk. Sure it might be fun at first but I think they get tired of it eventually.

Most may also come into contact with fake friends, people who only wants to be friend with you because of your celebrity status, in other words, use one. Many times people try to bust football player for various things, such as infidelity, sex scandals, drug stores, etc.. People who do this are generally ordinary people but in particular also journalists and paparazzi.

Såhär ser det ut hitills, en avslutning ska jag skriva också. Men tänkte om någon kände sig manad att kika påt.

Det är ganska bra, men behöver lite mer puts. En och annan mening mår bra av att delas i två. Ett eller annat komma kan förtydliga. Största missarna är på singularis/pluralis på verb (understrukna i citatet här).
