Det skiljer självklart från land till land.

I USA heter skattemyndigheten "Internal Revenue Service (IRS)", i UK "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC)".

What can I do you for?" (notera ordföljden).
Hur kommer det sig? För mig känns det helt ologiskt. "What can I do for you" måste väl ändå vara korrekt?

the items one can find on my family´s kitchen table are protein like meat or eggs, vitamins and minerals like lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber.
carbohydrates like potatoes and pasta.

Our kitchen table is square and I sit on the short end. my father is fat so he sits on the floor and my mother sits on the roof. so basically i sit
alone by the table.

my mother lays the table and does the cooking. she also does the washing up after we have had our dinner or lunch. occasionally my father are helping mom.

my eating habits are very regular. I can set the clock for my food intake on weekdays. I eat 5 times per day. 3 big meals breakfast, lunch and
dinner. I split my breakfast into 2 halves with a difference of 2,5 hours of each intake. I do it because I want to sleep a little longer on my workdays.

I have a job so my lunch is eleven o´clock each day and the dinner is set when i come home home after work.
on the weekends my habits are sloppy and I eat one less meal compared to weekdays.

the way to eat sensibly is to cook your own food I think.
to buy prepared food is the last resort because the lack of nutrition is vast.
the kcal in one portion Findus is around 500, most of the kcal are obtained by fat.
when you prepare the food yourself you choose and buy the neccesary ingredients yourself.
it takes more time to cook your own food but nutrition wise you get it all, escpescially if you ad sallad to the meal and a glass of milk.

the food one should have at a dinner party Is not regular, boring food. you eat that kind of food daily so I think people want something special. It is got to be like you are going out to eat a dinner at a fancy restaurant. you expekt the food to taste better then what you eat on a regular basis.
So to buy expensive food and put your heart in the preparing of it should make the people who attends at the dinner party sattisfied.
It is strongly suggested that the dinner should start with what the frenchmen call a "repetoir", a tease to get your plate ready for the main meal.
you should also end the meal with a dessert like a choclate cake or ice cream, or both.

most vegetarians do not eat meat becuase they think killing animals for food is wrong.
some vegetarians believe in excluding meat in your meals are more healthier for you.
you may think that the vegetarians do not get enough protein, but that is not the case,
because they usually buy vegetarian´s sausage and etc and in these fake meat there are alot of protein.

I still dont have a partner to discuss the questions in the book with.
But sometimes I discuss them with myself pretending to be a person who thinks the opposite of what i think.
that is a good way to improve my language skills.
It was kind of interesting to hear the story "desert dawn". the eating habits in the middle east is not like they are in sweden.
and they eat with their hand, left hand, if i remember correctly.
I have learnt a few cooking verbs necessary to use if I will cook with a englishmen.

the present tenses are quite tough to learn. but i think i have it to a decent level. I have spent several weeks devoted to tenses so I am sick of it and I stilll do not know why the letter "s" is exluded on the word "become" in the sentence one can read on the disc that followed the studiebook: "Progress gold A"

I have read the suggestions on how to give a presentation infront of a group of people. I liked it but i think its more joyful to see a presentation with a person who lets his/her charachter shine through. Not being a robot who speaks and moves to a script one can read in an english book.

I like to workout in the gym. And if I want good results I need to think about what I eat.
I eat what my mother cooks and that is basics like: fish, meat, potatoes, soups, sallad, and so on.
But I love junkfood, so 2-3 times a week I can not resist a "gidde" burger, bought at gideonsbergsgrillen.

there is alot of discussisions about food nowadays cause people are more fat now then before. You can find a fast food restaurant so easily that will have your meal ready in a few seconds/minutes. Or you can buy prepared food that you nuke in your microwave owen. These kind of food taste good but its to much fat and it is lacking to much vitamins and minerals to be considered healthy.
people like coffe, that is why coffeshops have become popular in recent years.
it is the same with junkfood, people loves it, that is why you can find fast food restaurants everywhere.

12. i used a dictionary daily for the past 2 weeks.
13 no, but i will see a movie without subtitles on this weekend. (but i didnt)
14. to ask the teacher for advises on how to improve my learning. I am not an educated teacher so i dont have an answer really.
15: maybe to put the exercises in a situations that is pertinent and physical.

How we celebrate.
I celebrate Christmas as the rest of the world Christians do. The feeling around Christmas is very special. It is a feel good feeling and I like that the sun sets early in the day, around 3-4 pm. I like it when it is dark and cold outside but warm inside, with lamps shining in the window creating a slightly murky light in the house. That is really comfortably. The Christmas day is spent home with my family and is quite boring I must say and I don’t like the food except for the ham. I eat ham all Christmas through. I make a sandwich with two layers ham on top and mustard, for breakfast and before I go to sleep. I would probably eat it all the year through but it is kind of hard to find Christmas ham in the groceryshops rest of the year.
We eat first and then we exchange gifts with each other. We are all grow-ups in our family so there is no Santa coming knocking on our door. One year my mother was the Santa-clause and it tricked us all, because usually our dad dressed up for santa, but that year my mother had the santa custom.
I think it is quite fun that all big holidays are commercialized.
There is a certain shopping hysteria around Christmas. So much advertisements on the tv, internet and in the newspaper. And people are going nuts buying gifts and even gifts to themselves.
I love shopping around Christmas, all the shops display Christmas related stuff in their windows and in the store. It is a lot of people and all are friendly and in a good mood.

Everything went well. But I have lost my vocalbury trainer at Uppsala concert house. But I emailed them and got a reply 30 minutes ago saying she will search for it. So maybe I will get it back. (but i didnt)

The understanding of tenses are quite poor but it gets better.
People are very superstitious. I came to that conclusion thinking of what TV programs are popular right now. There are several programs about mediums trying to connect with the other side, the ghost world.
Traditions are something nice that most people like. I think that is because it connects people and many people meet relatives they do not often meet.
We have one imported tradition: hallows eve.
Maybe we should import some more traditions, I don’t know. Maybe a muslim tradition to break the norm.

Folkrace.

På riktigt alltså. Folkrace heter samma sak på svenska som på engelska.
