Hursomhelst så har man produktionssatt den trimmade motorn. Då krävs inga långa serier för att hålla nere priset.

och i uppgraderingar f r o m 2009 .

Den finns senare portad för singel utförande F414-INS6

Og heller ikke for Block III som er aktuell i disse dager. Første Block III flyet skal leveres US Navy i Q1 nå i år.

Något ska vägas in i prisbilden är tillgängligheten. Den är 40% just nu på F35 men glider ned mot 25 om inget ändras. De har ett program för att nå 80 på alla sina flygsystem men nöjer sig nog vid 70% då kostnaden annars drar iväg.

Att enbart ha 1/4 av sina plan greppbara är ju rätt dyrt...

-Pricetag of the Polish F-35 deal is defined as 4.6B US dollars with unit price of 87.3M dollars (net), engine included – according to the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish MoD.
-The agreement also includes a modernization package that envisages that upgrades introduced later on would be implemented on the aircraft delivered before those upgrades.

Det behövs bara en reservmotor i början. När planens motorer kommer upp i användningstid så kanske man senare skaffar en till. Man skall komma ihåg att de har sex reservplan som kan flyttas om man får motorbrist, då givetvis på bekostnad av utbildningstillfällen.
