Ja F22 Raptor är det hittils bästa planet som byggts. Som andra redan påpekat är det dock väldigt dyrt, och kostar enorma summor att ha den i drift. Att man inte exporterar planet osv säger ju allt.

I Sverige används Cobham 904E vilket är en 900-pod som är anpassad för de C-130 som används i Sverige. Används även av olika Nato-länder för airbus, c-130 m.fl. I USA används 902E enligt Cobhams referenslista.

De (RAIDER 50)meddelade själva detta:

The controller asks RAIDER 50 to clarify that they were attempting to head to Thermal, an airport located just beyond the northern edge of the Salton Sea. That is confirmed. Then the controller says "RAIDER 50, I understand you are about 20 miles away and you are looking for the winds, let me get the winds for you. The wind is 150 at 08 knots."

RAIDER 50 then confirms engines number four and three are out and that they have the airport in sight at about 15 miles out

De kunde alltså inte flyga 15 miles utan fick sätta kärran tidigare.

De landade 500 meter från det flygfält de tänkt nödlanda på. Av någon anledning vek de undan vid inflygningen, gissar på att det redan fanns ett plan mitt på banan

Problemet är att vissa leverantörer har produktionsproblem och det är inte så lätt att byta leverantörer eftersom de är politiskt utvalda i projektet. Större tillverkare som för närvarande har lägre generell produktionstakt av komponenter pga minskning av trafikplansbyggnation har inga problem att ställa om och leverera till F-35 i tid. Det är de mindre tillverkarna i vissa länder som har problem.

Alltid någon annans fel och lösning finns alltid när det gäller f35.

Saab har löst logistik problem genom att ta hem viss produktion.
