When I last dug into this problem with lots of internetting, I discovered that dish soap and microfiber cloths are the best method, as many of you have pointed out.
Polmolive is one of the better dish soaps to use.
Even using this method I struggle I get my glasses perfectly clean and streak free. My son's glasses are much easier to clean. I think the difficulty of cleaning of specific glasses depends on the coatings applied on the lenses (anti scratch, blue blocker, anti glare, etc)
OP for you I think your problem might be a hazed coating. I've had this in the past. Some chemical you may have come in contact with may have hazed a coating on your glasses.

Which lens cleaner do you use & what are the ingredients?
Citat:
Specsavers. Ingredients aren't available anywhere. It is "alcohol-free lens bright" that they gave me along with the glasses.
By the way, I used dish soap and it worked perfectly except getting rid of the remaining water. So I can get rid of it.
But I'm still not sure exactly what it is.
