Deep Purple

Vilken skiva tycker ni mest om?

Burn
Machine Head
Made In Japan
Now What?!
Perfect Strangers

Om jag måste välja enbart en skiva av Deep Purple att lyssna på resten av livet så står valet mellan Machine Head och Perfect Strangers för mig. Där Machine Head vinner på målfoto.

Machine Head utan tvekan!

Machine Head är tveklöst mitt favoritalbum. Ett sant mästerverk!

In Rock och Fireball placerar jag på delad andra plats.

Perfect Strangers
Stormbringer
Come Taste The Band

Burn
In Rock
Machine Head
Perfect Strangers
Come Taste the Band

Jag skulle rekommendera:

Åren med Nick Simper och Rod Evans: The Book of Taliesyn
Åren med Ian Gillan och Roger Glover: Machine Head
Åren med David Coverdale och Glenn Hughes: Burn
Åren med Steve Morse: Purpendicular eller Now What?!

Senaste nytt ifrån basisten Roger Glover!

Deep Purple's Roger Glover just sent us a few lines about what the band is currently working on and we couldn't resist to share it with you!

"We started the next album in Nashville on the 28th January. Thirteen days of pre-production and thirteen days recording in the studio. Lucky thirteen because we have thirteen tracks, all but finished except for vocals.
Coincidence or what? How many will end up on he album is hard to tell yet… maybe all of them, maybe not. I won’t even begin to describe the music––an impossible job in any case. Suffice to say I’ve been listening to the rough mixes and there’s a smile on my face. Bob Ezrin and the team did their usual superb job. The next stage will be IG and I spending a week together, honing up on the lyrics before recording vocals in Toronto in April."

Det är bara att vänta på nya plattan. Det skall bli väldigt intressant måste jag säga

Deep Purple är numera med i Rock And Roll Hall of Fame! Själva induktionen finns inte än i bra kvalitet så vitt jag vet, men här kommer några backstage-videor med diverse medlemmar som kan vara kul att se.
