Hi.
I have around 1,000,000 kr.
Can I move to Sweden and buy a small apartment in a small/medium size town and find some kind of job?
How much are small apartments cost in these places?
I want to move to Sweden as soon as possible, for many reasons.
Some advice.
Thanks.

What are your skills? If you have none and dont know swedish your fucked. 1.000.000 will only give you an apartment in smaller towns and there are no jobs there. Moving up 3-4.000.000 gets you close to Stockholm where theres more opportunities.

I have a first class degree from good UK university, so I am educated.
I live in UK now.
I know basic Swedish and can definitely become advanced level.

I want any kind of job, as long as I can afford to eat, I am happy.
Bus driver. Warehouse worker. etc.
I will do any job as long as it pays the bills.

I think you are able to find work.

With 1 million SEK you can definately find something but it all depends on where you want to live?

There are some small towns in the south of Sweden with decent prices but you might have to commute by car for at least 40 minutes one-way to where the Jobs are.

I will live anywhere, as long as there are local stores to buy food.
Not too far from a town, and some kind of job.
I will accept any job.
I want to leave the UK. It is a horrible and depressing country.
I am desperate to move to Sweden.

If you move up in the north to a small town you can get a house, snowmobile and have half of the money left. You can be lucky and find a job a hour away or something.
If you move to other small town south of Stockholm you can get a small house and a work in same town.

Look on stepstone.se, monsters.se or blocket.se to find job.

Apartment or house you find at hemnet.se

Good luck

Why do you want to leave? Sick of immigration? Try Denmark

Yes. I want to live in the north.
Away from people, not too isolated.
I like snow and cold climates.

But Im worried about finding a job.
I am not a native. And swedes have a right to be racist.
So maybe they wont employ me because I am a foreigner.

Jobs go to native Swedes, I know its how it should be.
Maybe they will make an exception for me?

I think "Insertnickname" is right on the money (pun intended)
I live in the south of Sweden in a community that is not quite a town but larger than a village. Very good industrial growth and jobs are fairly easy to get if you dont mind working shifts in an industry.

3 fairly large towns within 50 miles.

I recommend renting a flat first before buying anything permanent. Rent are about 5-6000 sek and up a month not including electricity.

Where I live 700 000- 1 000 000 gets you a very descent house

Denmark is harder to get into than Sweden, in my opinion.
I want to leave the UK because there are so many things wrong with this country.
I have no friends here. I dont like the British people.
I dont like the class system. Personality. Housing. Education.
Everything is so wrong with the UK.
Sweden is cleaner, has more forest, snow and nature.
Less people, less bad people, less crime, less pollution.
Sure there are immigrants in Sweden. But Sweden is so good in other ways, it kind of isnt an issue.
You know what I mean?

Norway requires lots of money.
Sweden is the best choice.
And I know basic Swedish language.
I have been to Sweden many times.
I know people here and how the system kinda works.
Im more used to Sweden.
