Holocaust, Vol.VI, kap.87, Zvi Gitelman, “Soviet Reactions to the Holocaust, 1945-1991”:
s.245: “Most estimates, necessarily based on fragmentary information, are that about one and a half million Soviet Jewish citizens who lived in the pre-1939 borders of the USSR were murdered by the Nazis and that 200.000 more died in combat.”
William Korey i septembernumret av tidskriften Hadassah år 1991: ”the Soviet attempt to obliterate the Holocaust in the memories of Jews as well as non-Jews---the Kremlin’s suppression of all reference of the Holocaust until now.”
s.250: “A fairly close examination of the six-volume official Soviet history of the war reveals not a single reference to Jews. Nor do the terms “anti-Semitism” or “Holocaust” appear in the index. In the third volume, the occupation is referred to as “a regime of terror and occupation”. Einsatzgruppen are mentioned, as is Babi Yar, but the word “Jew” does not appear in any of these connections.”
Gitelman framkastar hypoteser om varför "sanningen

om FFFörintelsen förnekades eller förringades"

i Sovjetunionen, men vad tror de gaskammartroende här?
