Business Standard has reviewed the minutes of that meeting. The IAF's three top objections to the FGFA were:

Punkt B är också korrekt. De motorer som sitter i nu (eller fram till förra prototypen) har flugit med uppgraderade AL-31. Projekt 117 är dock en mindre revolution inom flygmotorer med kompressorblad i kompositmaterial och en rätt brutal T/W-ratio.
Punkt C, otippat att de klagar över kostnaderna. Till att börja med är det indier vi pratar om och för det andra så utnyttjar de varje tillfälle de kan till att försöka få mer inflytande i projektet.
