Kommentar från YouTube angående scenen där James och Madeleine är i hennes hus på landet och pratar:
Citat:
I know a lot of people say Vesper was the one and I truly thought that too when at the beginning he went to her grave and said "I miss you" but later on when he returned to Madeleine and said "I do not regret a single moment of my life that led me to you" was such a powerful statement because it included losing Vesper and if he had to lose her to found Madeleine he would've accepted that fate with open arms. So for me Madeleine was the one for Bond.

A scene that sadly doesn't get talked about enough, cause it's the best scene in the movie in my opinion. The lighting, the dialogue, and the music- especially the music- sell me on that thought. Hans Zimmer was brilliant. Incorporating the Billie Eilish song into the musical score here gives this scene so much more impact and weight than it was probably going to have if those musical cues weren't there. When the music kicks in it presents a feeling of relief, joyfulness and happiness, knowing that he has the family that he has wanted with Madeleine, but yet the music also feels haunting, sad, and tragic, with us knowing now that Bond eventually sacrifices his life for his family. Really got Padme/Anakin Across The Stars vibes from this whole scene. Also bringing in Mathilda brings this scene full circle with the story these 5 movies are trying to tell. Madeleine is the daughter of an assassin, and now so is Mathilde. I could analyze this scene all day. It has so much depth and so many layers to it.
Det är bara att hålla med. En underbar scen och Madeleine var Bonds livs kärlek.
