🇷🇺🇺🇦The Ukrainian Armed Forces are beginning to suffer serious losses near Kursk, and they are also running out of ammunition, The Times writes, citing Ukrainian soldiers wounded near Kursk.
"The guys who are still there are fighting like tigers. It's much harder than it looks in the news," said a 47-year-old soldier who goes by the call sign Prophet.
His unit lost five fighters in an artillery attack near Sudzha: two killed and three missing. In response, they were unable to strike due to a shortage of shells, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are beginning to experience in the Kursk region.
The Prophet believes his small unit has penetrated further than commanders "dared to believe or plan."
"We ran around pretending there were a lot more of us than there actually were," the soldier says.
Another evacuee told the publication that of the 15 people on his team, only five survived: “We are losing a lot of people there.”
