11 more towns join the reconciliation agreements in different provinces

Lattakia, SANA- The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center announced that the number of the Syrian towns which have joined the cessation of hostilities agreement reached 775 towns since the agreement came into force last February.

The Center said in a statement published on Wednesday that 11 towns in the provinces of Hama and Lattakia signed the reconciliation agreements over the past few hours.

The Center added that communications are underway with a number of leaders of the armed groups to join the cessation of hostilities in the provinces of Damascus Countryside, Homs, Aleppo and Quneitra.

47 breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement by the armed groups were observed in the provinces of Aleppo, Damascus, Lattakia, Hama, Daraa and Quneitra, according to the Center.

US doing its level best to save terrorists in Syria:

James Jatras, a former US Senate foreign policy analyst, says the United States is doing its level best to save the terrorist groups in the Syrian city of Aleppo in order to maintain leverage for its ultimate goal which is regime change.

He also noted there are no moderate groups in Syria, which is exactly why the US cannot separate them from the terrorists.

What the Americans are really doing is protecting terrorists but they do not want to admit it, he added.

Jatras further stated these terrorist groups use the Syrian people as “human shields” and “propaganda tools” to hold up for atrocity claims.

“They have every incentive themselves to either put these people in the line of fire or even to launch weapons against them themselves and say look what the Syrian government is doing, look what the Russians are doing. These people do not care about the people of Syria. All they care about is their ideological goals,” he said.
