ipod video konverterare

Hej
Nyligen införskaffat en iPod video. När jag försökte lägga in en film så sa den att min iPod video inte stödjer det filformatet, det var en .avi- fil.
Kan någon hjälpa mig att hitta ett gratis program som skulle kunna fixa detta.
Hitte typ program som kunde göra de men bara med dvd filmer. Och jag vill ha ett program som konverterar mina filmer från torrent till ipod.
