Forskare har hittat kollagen, dvs. organiska molekyler, i fossilisersde Edmontosaurus-ben. Detta borde inte vara möjligt ifall benen är över sextio miljoner år gamla. En del forskare menar dock att de endast är några tusen år gamla:

In the evolutionary worldview, this Edmontosaurus (a duck-billed dinosaur) was buried 66 million years ago—and yet “organic molecules” are still present in the bone. Since these molecules decay quickly, it’s very difficult for evolutionists to explain how this collagen can still be there, hence the “fierce debate” in the scientific community with many claiming all the examples of soft tissue finds are contamination.
Citat:
By combining microscopy, chemical analysis, and protein sequencing, the team aimed to rule out contamination and strengthen the case that the molecules were original to the dinosaur itself.
Vad tror ni? Varför finns det kvar kollagen i Edmontosaurus-benen?
