USA tänker alltså sätta mer press på Ryssland, fler sanktioner mot Ryssland och strafftullar på länder som köper olja/gas från Ryssen. Enligt USA håller Rysslands ekonomi på att kollapsa och genom sanktionerna tror man kommer tvinga Putin till förhandlingsbordet.
