Amerikanska studier visar att upp till 60% av hundar som rapporteras som "pitbull" inte är det genetiskt – de har liknande utseende men tillhör andra raser eller blandraser.
Du, pitbulls är inte generellt farligare än andra hundraser, men de har vissa egenskaper som kräver ansvarsfull ägarhantering. Forskning visar att aggressivitet inte är kopplad till ras i sig, utan till miljö, träning och ägaransvar.
Istället för att killgissa, försök att ta reda på fakta i frågan.
I det här fallet har Adrian killgissat att det var pitbulls och/eller amstaff.
Fakta är att ingen vet var ägaren fått hundarna ifrån, hur dom levt eller uppfostrats då de saknar vaccination och är inte chippade.
Polisen tog beslut om avlivning efter en beteendeundersökning på hundarna. Tragisk historia men har inget om "kamphundar" att göra - ett idiotiskt begrepp som alla som är insatta i hunduppfödning och hundhantering vet.
