Ännu ett intressant dokument som relaterar till tyskarnas verkliga judepolicy (citat från Longerich). Den 6:e augusti 1941 skrev Franz Walter Stahlecker, som var polisledare i Reichskommissariat Ostland i ockuperade Baltikum, ett brev där han diskuterade möjligheterna att exploatera deporterade judar som arbetskraft. Stahlecker talade om "general orders from above that cannot be discussed in writing", och i slutet av dokumentet specificerar han fördelarna med...:
[...] an almost 100 per cent immediate cleansing of the whole of the Eastland of Jews, preventing Jews from multiplying, possibilities for the most ruthless exploitation of Jewish labour, a significant easing of the later transportation of Jews into a Jewish reservation outside of Europe.
Vad menade han med general orders from above that cannot be discussed in writing?
