World of Alidia (WoA) - en svensk NFT-scam?

🌟 **WOA VISION FOR THE FUTURE! **🌟

Happy Wednesday @everyone ! We hope that your Holiday preparations are going great, and that you will all have some beautiful days ahead, however you spend the coming weeks. 💞

Soon it’s the end of 2022, and a new year waits around the corner. We wanted to end this year by sharing both the results of our community survey (thank you to everyone who participated 🙏🏻- you’ll find all the results + our takeaways in the <#958662490970030080> channel) as well as some of our visions for the future.

As you all know, the NFT/crypto/economic market right now is very challenging. And we understand that some of you still feel disappointed that we didn’t get the funds to realise the original roadmap. Many hopes and dreams have been shattered these past few months and a lot of big and small crypto/NFT companies have filed for bankruptcy as a result of the crash. ❤️‍🩹 Launching a new NFT project in a time like this has been extremely challenging, and in a market that severely limits our possibilities of income we’ve had to readjust some of the goals that we had set up for our project. But we have done our very best these past few months to include a mix of irl value in terms of the WoA Weekend irl event, Discord workshops and discounts - as well as Web3 value in terms of airdrops, Web3 educational material, Web3 perks and giveaways such as Name Tag, Prysm Squad etc and future Metaverse product airdrops. ✨

What we feel is important for you all to know is that we will never give up and we will always do our very best to bring as much value as we can to World of Alidia and our holders. 💞 We see huge potential in WoA, and everyone in the team will continue to work hard and do our very best to realise that potential. 💪🏻 As we’ve said before; *This is a marathon - not a sprint*. So we’ll continue to work on our longterm vision, with the following focus points:

🌟 Keep positioning WoA as a dominating Web3 brand in Scandinavia. Keep offering our discord + educational material as a free resource for anyone Web3 curious, and to keep building a project that lowers the threshold for especially women entering Web3 to make Scandinavias entrance into our digital future more equal. To keep offering a safe space to explore Web3 will always be a priority for us, and our core mission - **to connect women while bringing them into Web3** - will always be our main goal.

🌟 We will continue to develop our Metaverse and seek out fun brand collaborations (maybe a Metaverse fashion show?) in order to secure our spot as the go to brand portal for brands looking to enter Web3. We understand that the Metaverse is abstract to some of you, but if we compare it to the early days of the Internet it was not always easy to see the value of that either, or why creating homepages etc was important. We see our Metaverse as an important business part of WoA’s future (in 2026 people of all ages are expected to spend at least 1 hour a day in the Metaverse) that can bring income to the project by for example collaborating with Web2 brands that are seeking Web3 presence. And being creative with where to find revenue in times like these is crucial.

🌟 The Metaverse is also something we hope will increase the future value for our holders, we are for example planning for a Metaverse home that we want to airdrop to everyone holding a WoA NFT. Further down the line we also want to be able to offer holder gated experiences and workshops in our Metaverse, something we feel is a good way to attract more international holders since everyone can partake in digital events.

🌟 We want to make it easier for new members to join WoA by creating our own NFT marketplace with a credit card payment option on our website. The positive thing about having our own marketplace is that for newbies it will be much easier to buy a WoA since they will be able to buy them directly from our website on the secondary market (just as any other item you can shop online), instead of having to deal with OpenSea which many newbies (and others too) might feel is complicated (even if they have a credit card option in the future). We can also connect it to our WoA Gallery, which means anything we sell on our own marketplace = all the % stays in WoA and we have our own economic ecosystem. Yet another positive aspect is that WoA holders will also be able to upload their own NFTs on our marketplace, making it easier for them to reach an audience + sell their work(s) + NFTs.

🌟 We are working on the Märta Larsson NFT collection that will be airdropped to our holders in the beginning of next year, and we’re looking for more collaborations like this as we believe owning first edition NFTs of quality brands will be valuable in the future. Collaborating with Web2 brands also builds a strong network for future collabs in for example our Metaverse and discount departments. They are also important for possible sponsorships and/or giveaways for future irl events.

🌟 We will continue to offer workshops in the Discord (feel free to feedback on workshop themes you’d like to see) and we will also try to arrange more irl events since our WoA Weekend was so appreciated. Regarding irl events we are thinking that more smaller ones (like irl workshops or some kind of experience) are better than one big - feel free to feedback on this as well. We´ll try our best to find cost effective ways to make more irl events happen.

🌟 More exclusive discounts are also on their way. Thanks for all the great suggestions mentioned in the <#958662490970030080> channel and feel free to keep suggesting brands you feel would be a good fit for WoA to collab with.

Regarding the discounts, according to the survey 80,7% of the people answering it have redeemed or plan to redeem one or more of them. We understand that discounts aren’t for everyone, but the majority of our community enjoys them.

The discounts also bring more value than what might appear at first sight. Apart from acting as actual discounts they also bring other values to WoA. For example, being associated with good Web2 brands help validate us as a serious Web3 brand. It´s also a possible source of future income, when we have grown our community we will be able to charge for these collaborations. And to be creative where to find income is as we’ve mentioned above crucial when the classic revenue streams for NFT projects are severely diminished.

The network we are creating with all these brands are also very valuable when it comes to arranging sponsorships and giveaways for upcoming irl events. This network will also be important when introducing Web2 brands into Web3 via our Metaverse, something we can also gain possible income from in the future. The discounts are also a way for us to highlight and support female founded/female led businesses, which is one of our core values (supporting women).

🌟 Lastly, we are also planning to have a town hall meeting in the beginning of next year to discuss ideas on how to sell out our collection, and we hope to see you all there.
