Golvet som öppnades upp automatiskt och tömde ner judarna i krematoriet i Auschwitz

Jag hittade ännu en propagandareferens till automatiskt öppnande golv, denna gång för "utrotningslägret" Buchenwald.

Everything had been provided for down to the smallest detail. In 1944, at Buchenwald, they had even lengthened a railway line so that the deportees might be led directly to the gas chamber. Certain chambers had a floor that tipped and immediately directed the bodies into the room with the crematory oven.

Jag upphör aldrig att fascineras över förintelsemytens "följdriktighet", och hur den på alla sätt och vis passar in i ramen för krigspropaganda under andra historiska eror. Även internt i förintelsemyten återkommer till synes absurda teman mellan helt olika läger.

Tout étaite prévu dans ses plus petits détails. En 1944, à BUCHENWALD, on a même prolongé une voie ferrée pour que les déportés soient conduits directement jusqu'à la chambre à gaz. Certaines avaient un sol basculant qui déversait immédiatement les cadavres dans la salle du four crématoire.

Märkligt i sken av rapporterna.

Jag hittade ännu en rapport som pratar om de elektriska transportbanden som skjutsade liken rakt in i kremeringsugnarna. Denna gång är vittnet (med initialerna "K. J.") en polsk rymling från Auschwitz som dömts till 10 veckors straffarbete i lägret efter att ha avvikit från sin ledighet. Vittnesmålet avledes i Stockholm till en representant för den polska exilregeringen i London, vid namn Waskiewicz.

At each roll-call a special squad moved away those who had fallen and no longer reacted to kicks; they were taken – without checking whether they were still alive – on a conveyor belt directly to the crematorium oven, the capacity of which had been designed for 1,000 persons in 1943.

Men rapporten blir ännu mer fantasirik.

Section XVIII (Jews) was equipped with a gas chamber and a lubricant factory for machinery. K. J. states that this was where he had found that the Germans transformed the corpses of the Jews into grease which was then shipped in packages with the label ‘Lubricant Factory – Auschwitz.’

Denna skröna reflekterar den tidstypiska krigspropagandan om efterbehandling av mänskliga lik. Den har självklara beröringspunkter med tvålmyten.

Then each group was sent to the gas chambers separately, a large concrete hall accessible through a triple door. The condemned usually died within a few minutes after the closure of the doors. The hall was then quickly aired, and the detainees of the removal squad had to take them as quickly as possible, before they became stiff, on special carts which went into the lubricant factory via a mechanical transport device.

There, by means of chemical processes which K. J. does not know about, a transformation into a slurry and the extraction of the grease took place. The remains in the form of a nondescript slurry and some bones were carefully burned in the crematorium oven.
