The event was exceptionally uneventful. Nothing really new.
Kari claimed that there are already 500 merchants and more coming after October 1st.
Kari was not at his best and spoke tiredly things like "Bitcoin will be eaten by OneCoin" , "We are already 10 times bigger (than Bitcoin), soon we will be 20 times bigger", "We are at the moment the world's largest, economically substantial company, we have nothing to worry about, we just need more people to work for us". Yes, he really said OneCoin is the world's biggest company, if you understand finnish, you can hear Kari saying this at 40 second position at the Facebook video linked below.
Kari was irritated that Finland has dropped from the top-ten list of growth and membership count, and tried to push people to work more.
According to Petteri Järvinen, Tommi was lying that EU is preparing to make all open source cryptocurrencies illegal (yes, really that is what he said), and the audience was just clapping their hands, nobody questioned anything.
Most likely Tommi knows that the EU-issue was regarding concerns about anonymity things, not open source, but of course this kind of "small details" don't matter in OneCoin circles. : Lol:
Also one strange thing what Kari said according to Petteri Järvinen was this: "Don't expect that everything doubles on second of October, I'm happy if this all is done by the end of the year, this is a big thing."
