Tre miljoner. Hade han ombetts att "erkänna" trettio miljoner hade han förstås gjort även det - i outhärdliga situationer kan människor fås att bekänna de mest absurda saker (Stalin tyckte sådant var jävligt kul att se och höra på 30-talet, och de hårdaste män bröt samman - vad allt bekände inte generalerna i Sovjetunionen?):
