I UK är det vanligt med missbruk av temazepam, de säljes som någon slags gelekapsel. Vilket resulterat i otrevliga och uppmärksammade fall där missbrukar som injicerat kapslarna lösta fått amputera kroppsdelar.
Det verkar vara en relativt potent benso med tanke på det omfattande missbruket. Relativt hög aktiv dos dock, endast matchad av Oxazepam.
