Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service udev restart
Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the restart(8) utility, e.g. restart udev
udev start/running, process 2426
usb-modeswitch installed and configured
you can connect your huawei e1750 to your computer now, and your network manager will now find your modem.
a note: you need to disconnect and then re-connect your modem physicaly if your modem is connected to your computer at upstart

okej, du kanske behöver ändra i listan över var ubuntu hittar sina program.
starta terminalen och skriv
Kod:
i fliken Uppdateringar. Se till att rutan karmic-backports är ibockad.
prova igen.
Kod:
sudo apt-get install libusb-dev sudo apt-get install usb-modeswitch
