‼️"He was beaten for a week, a whole week. He simply couldn't sleep; he was beaten every day by the entire company, meaning there was an order to beat him."
Polina Pleskach, the wife of serviceman Edgar Karenovich Avetyan, born on July 16, 1995, serving in the 270th Motor Rifle Regiment "Akhmat-Kavkaz" (military unit 93984), has made a new statement, alleging lawlessness within the unit and the inaction of the regiment commander, Colonel Hussein Mezhidov.
The 270th Motor Rifle Regiment "Akhmat-Kavkaz" is part of the 42nd Motor Rifle Division (military unit 27777) of the 58th Guards Combined Arms Army (military unit 47084). The regiment commander is Colonel Hussein Khalidovich Mezhidov, born on July 4, 1987.
On February 4th, Edgar, who had left the unit's premises, was taken away by a search group, after which he was beaten for a week within the regiment. The woman claims that the serviceman was beaten by the entire company, and due to the beatings, he couldn't sleep for several days.
According to Polina, there is a corruption scheme within the unit, where soldiers give their combat pay to the command in exchange for not being sent on combat missions:
"Other guys didn't go to the front lines. They received combat pay, and gave the combat pay to the commander."
After being detained by the search group, Edgar's phone was taken away, and for four months he did not have access to his salary. Later, after regaining access to the serviceman's personal account, Edgar discovered that payments were being made to him, but the money was being withdrawn from his card by unknown individuals:
"He saw that payments were coming to him, and money was being debited from his card."
Polina also claims that Edgar needs medical assistance, but despite this, he is going to be sent on a combat mission. In addition, the woman stated that after the publication of the statements, servicemen from the regiment began threatening her with being sent to the "SVO" (Special Military Operation) as a nurse:
"She's overdoing it with her videos and so on – we'll send her. She probably wants to go there, to the SVO, as a nurse. So, they threatened to take me as a nurse. What kind of threats are those?"
The woman is asking for the situation to be made public and for the lawlessness in the 270th Motor Rifle Regiment "Akhmat-Kavkaz" to be addressed.
