▪️ Overnight, attacks by UAVs on Russian regions continued. Two drones were shot down by air defense forces as they approached Moscow, according to Sobyanin. Temporary restrictions were imposed on flights at Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports. In Sevastopol, 7 UAVs were shot down, reportedly without casualties. In Novorossiysk, the threat of UAV attacks was announced twice overnight, and sirens were activated. The alert was lifted at 03:09. An oil refinery was damaged in Yaroslavl.
▪️ Strikes on the territory of Ukraine continued throughout the day and night. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a UAV hit a container ship in the port of Chernomorsk, which was delivering cargo to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. During the night, UAVs were operating over Kiev, Zaporozhye, and the Odessa region.
▪️ In the Bryansk region, a woman was killed in the village of Slutsevsk in the Pogarsky district as a result of a UAV attack. In Borshovo, in the same district, a man was injured by shrapnel from a kamikaze drone and was hospitalized.

The "North" Territorial Defense reports advances by assault groups in the Sumy district on 15 sections, with a total claimed advance of up to 400 meters. Advances were reported near Tolstodubovo in the Shostkinsky district, and infantry fighting is taking place near Stepka in the Krasnopolsky district. Aviation, artillery, and UAVs were operating in the areas of Sumy, Glukhov, Khotyn, Boyaro-Lezhaya, and Tolstodubovo.
▪️ In the Kursk region, a 52-year-old woman was injured in Korenevo as a result of a UAV attack. She suffered shrapnel wounds to her leg, and first aid was administered on the spot. She refused hospitalization.
▪️ In the Belgorod region, at least nine civilians were injured on September 16. During the day, the injured were in Shebekino, Kukuivka, and Rzhavets. Later, six more people were injured in attacks in Rzhevka, Vengerovka, Krasnaya Yaruga, Proletarsky, and Otradovsky. Drones targeted cars, a truck, a residential building, and the territory of an enterprise.
▪️ In the Kharkov direction, fighting continues in several areas. The "North" Territorial Defense reports an expansion of the control zone near Goptovka. In the Volchansk area, advances were reported near Malaya Volchya, and intense fighting is taking place near Petropavlovka and Novolyubinka. An attempt by a Ukrainian group to advance on armored vehicles ("Kazak") was thwarted. In the Velikoburluk area, further advances were reported with the support of artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.
▪️ In the DPR, one civilian was killed and seven were injured as a result of attacks by attack UAVs in a single day. Ukrainian units continue counterattacks in the northern sector, but there is no confirmed evidence of a more significant and sustained advance towards Lyman during the reporting period.
▪️ In the Druzhkovsky *direction*, the main fighting is taking place in the area of Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and its flanks. Fighting is reported along the line of Osikovo - Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka, near the approaches to Kurtovka, and in the areas of Bezimyanoye, Klinovoye, and Molocharka.
▪️ Heavy fighting continues on the Dobropol direction. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported an improvement in the tactical situation and strikes against Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the areas of Dobropole, Gulevo, Belozersky, and Novovodnyane. They report continued pressure on the southern and southwestern approaches to the city.
▪️ Activity remains high on the Zaporozhye front, particularly in the Orekhiv direction. The Ukrainian side reports the actions of small Russian assault groups and attempts to infiltrate the areas of Malyi Shcherbakov, Stepove, and Shcherbakov.
