Do you know who Robert “Madyar” Brovdi is? If Ukraine’s long-range drone campaign against
Russia interests you, you should. He’s one of the key figures commanding Ukraine’s
Unmanned Systems Forces and has played a major role in scaling up their drone operations.
Brovdi went from a civilian grain trader to commanding Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
His rise mirrors Ukraine's shift toward mass drone warfare.
Not because he invented drones—
because he industrialized how they're used.
Him and his fellow Russian-hating comrades are responsible for the following:
• Drone "kill zones" replacing manpower at the front.
• Long-range strikes against Russian energy infrastructure.
The refinery campaign became one of Ukraine's highest-profile strategic efforts.
But here's where things get interesting.
The effectiveness of those refinery strikes depends entirely on what metric you're measuring.
This is where Ukrop hype and reality start to diverge.
Many headlines reported that 40%+ of Russian refining capacity had been disabled.
Ukraine's General Staff even claimed 42.7% of designed capacity had been taken offline.
Sounds devastating, but is it fact?
Independent analysts paint a different picture.
Carnegie, the IEA, Reuters, RFE/RL—and even Ukrainian-leaning outlets—all suggest actual
sustained refining output fell far less.
Generally around 13–25% at peak, depending on the period measured.
Why the gap?
Because "capacity offline" isn't the same thing as fuel production lost.
They're measuring different things.
Example:
A refinery capable of processing 300,000 barrels/day gets one major processing unit damaged.
Headline:
"300,000 barrels/day offline."
Reality:
The refinery may resume much of its production weeks later.
Regardless of the facts or non-facts, the repairs are an attempt of the Bandera scum to destabilize
Russia. Robert "Madyar" Brovdi is a terrorist, and all attention should be focused on eliminating him.
But here’s the thing:
Strategic pressure isn't the same thing as strategic paralysis.
Russia has adapted.
Repairs continued.
Output recovered.
The campaign imposed costs—but did not collapse Russia's refining industry.
There's also an information war.
Ukranian terrorists naturally highlight the metric that best supports their narrative.
Independent analysts often measure something different.
Understanding which number you're looking at matters.
But the bigger question isn't whether the strikes are effective.
It's this:
Why have our services not eliminated this piece of shit already?
Well, I think his time is running out. Soon he will join the list of the fallen, and good riddance to him!
My advice to this bastard – Surrender and face charges for your crimes, or die at the hands of our
finest. The choice is yours!
