Citat:
I make sure to exercise almost every day.
I meditate every day.
I write down what I'm proud of and what I'm thankful for.
I do small but meaningful self-care routines.
I make sure to remind myself that I matter, that I am good at what I do and that I will find a job.
I do these things to strengthen myself during these trying times. I do it to help myself continue fighting to reach my potential. I do it so that I can look back from my work desk, at my future job, and thank myself for what I did.
I wanted to make this post to show others in my position that you are not alone and to remind anyone who is struggling to make sure to take care of their mental health. Some day, hopefully soon, someone will see that internal fire you are so passionately caring for. Someone will see your dedication, your tenacity, your willpower. Someone will see just how great you are and be perplexed at how you aren't employed yet. Someone will recognize all of your hard work. You, and I, will succeed.
At the risk of repeating myself from my latest interview - I feel as if I've ran a marathon my whole life, it's only 2 meters left to the finishing line and who am I to give up then?
