Jag känner inte till några exempel där ens en utdragen krasch sänkt en hel börs med 50%, en krasch i väst är 25-35%, så bara att se siffra på pränt är lite maxat. Får anta att det är alla i väst som drar sig ur, hur lät som helst att köpa Rysslandsfonder och det har alltid varit ett idiotiskt köp.

In 2006, Grigor’s parents moved to a small village near Kharkiv.

They continued to watch Russian television as they had done in Kyrgyzstan. So did Irina Grigor, who had moved to Finland from the United Kingdom in 2009, but they also followed the news about Ukraine on Ukrainian and international media.

At the turn of 2013–2014, they noticed a change in the way Ukraine was portrayed in the news on Russian television.

Previously, Ukrainians had been seen as a small Slavic brother nation of Russia. Now Grigor was shocked to see Ukrainians being branded fascists more brutal than the German Nazis in Russian television news. Their parents in Eastern Ukraine were equally shocked by the news on television.

“As a legacy of the Second World War, my parents remembered the deterrent of fascism during the Soviet Union and were horrified by the news,” Grigor says.

The change in the portrayal of Ukraine was the result of the Kremlin’s conscious and powerful information influence activities.

Om du har släktingar som dödats av fascisterna, kan jag inget annat än beklaga. Dock - jag har haft förfäder som dödats av polacker och litauer och ryssar och danskar, men inte går jag omkring pösande av hat och bitterhet för den sakens skull.

Ukrainarna hade lidit mycket ont under Stalins välde. De hade svultit ihjäl i miljoner. De hade tvingats skicka killar att slåss i vinterkriget mot Finland. Tusentals ukrainare dödades, bland annat i slaget vid Raatevägen.

Så det är fullt förklarligt att många ukrainare valde att samarbeta med tyskarna, som de uppfattade som sina befriare. Men det var för 80 år sedan. Varför skulle inte Ukraina som nation (liksom även de baltiska staterna) inte förtjäna sin frihet i dag, bara för att en del av invånarna gjorde dumma saker för länge sedan?

Det fanns ju för fan till och med ryssar som kollaborerade med Hitler ...
