State Department pressing Clinton lawyer over email gap

"State Department officials are pressing Hillary Clinton's personal lawyer David Kendall to confirm -- again -- whether the former secretary of state really did turn over all official emails, according to Justice Department documents filed as part of a watchdog group's lawsuit against the State Department.

State Department official Patrick Kennedy raised this question with Kendall in an Oct. 2 letter -- obtained by Fox News -- demanding to know why there appears to be a gap of at least two months during which Clinton may not have turned over official emails to the department.

The details emerged in a FOIA lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch. And the question over a gap in the records follows recent reports that Clinton was emailing with Gen. David Petraeus in January and February 2009 from her personal email account about Obama administration personnel matters -- though she has claimed she only started using that personal account for official business in March 2009."

Nu verkar ju det faktiskt som om Joe Biden skall ställa upp.

1 augusti skrev Maureen Dowd en krönika med följande rörande stycke i The New York Times:

"When Beau realized he was not going to make it, he asked his father if he had a minute to sit down and talk.

“Of course, honey,” the vice president replied.

At the table, Beau told his dad he was worried about him.

My kid’s dying, an anguished Joe Biden thought to himself, and he’s making sure I’m O.K.

“Dad, I know you don’t give a damn about money,” Beau told him, dismissing the idea that his father would take some sort of cushy job after the vice presidency to cash in.

Nu har det kommit fram enligt Politico att det var Biden själv som var källan:

Trump tycks ha vänt den nedåtgående trenden.

Hillary Clinton är INTE topic här. /Mod

Oklart om det ens var en nedåtgående trend, känns mer som en tillfällig dipp i ett par mätningar. Dock verkar väl Trump ha salgit i ett slags tak på kring 30% stöd. Kan bli svårt att ta nomineringen om inte fler kan tänka sig honom.

Fast luften verkar ha gått ur exempelvis Jeb Bush som väl ändå är huvudkonkurrenten. Det är ju dock ett tag kvar så mycket kan förstås hända fortfarande.

Hoppas verkligen att Trump blir nästa president. Det blir en härlig show med den clownen

Det råder ju lite kaos inom republikanerna för tillfället med oklarheter om vem som ska ta över som talman efter John Boehner. Detta kan givetvis påverka nomineringen men det är förstås svårt att säga hur.

Hade USA varit tiondelen så stort hade jag hållit med, men när vi talar om världens enda supermakt med närapå hälften av världens militärbudget ser jag hellre en seriös president.

Visar bara hur sjukt USA blivit när Trump är den seriösaste kandidaten. Skulle kunna förutspråka Carson, men han är väl antagligen köpt han också.

De två är de minst seriösa kandidaterna i hela fältet: ingen politisk erfarenhet och inga tydliga ställningstaganden i sakfrågor. De är bara populistiska missnöjespolitiker.
