Hoola Bandoola Band var ett svenskt, Malmöbaserat proggband under 1970-talet. Gruppen bildades 1970 av låtskrivarna Mikael Wiehe och Björn Afzelius samt Peter Clemmedson. Hoola Bandoola band hörde på sin tid till de mest inflytelserika i Sverige. Ramones var ett punkrockband bildat i Queens, New York i mars 1974, och som räknas som ett av de tidigaste amerikanska punkrocksbanden. Ramones spelade sin sista konsert, av totalt ungefär 2200, den 6 augusti 1996.

Joey Ramone avled i cancer den 15 april 2001 i New York. Dee Dee Ramone hittades död i sitt hem i Hollywood den 5 juni 2002 efter en trolig överdos. Johnny Ramone avled i prostatacancer den 15 september 2004. Tommy Ramone avled i gallgångscancer den 11 juli 2014.
