Private military company will be in charge of suppressing protest movements in Eastern Ukraine, said a source in the country's Security Service. According to him, the name of the company is Greystone Limited.


According to a source cited by ITAR-TASS, Ukrainian authorities believe that the Security Service is not able to suppress the protest mood and neutralize the leaders and activists of the pro-Russian movement in the eastern regions. In particular, the source said, the acting president Alexander Turchinov shares this opinion. "Therefore it was decided to attract foreign mercenaries, who will serve as political police and state security protection, " said the representative of the Security Service.

He informed that the initiative to attract mercenaries belongs to oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky and Sergei Taruta, appointed governors of Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.


Not so long ago, during a meeting with Turchinov, a plan to stop the protest movements in the eastern regions was discussed. Kolomoysky noted: "why reinvent the wheel if there are real people who understand how and how much to pay," said the source.

KHARKIV, March 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Acting Defense Minister Ihor Tenyukh will be dismissed soon, an MP representing Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party of parliament-appointed Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said Tuesday on the conditions of anonymity.

The MP said that Tenyukh had been misinforming the country’s leadership by saying he was in contact with all the commanders in Crimea and all of them were ostensibly ready to wage a mortal fight (with the Crimean self-defense forces).

In reality, however, it turned out that none of the top commanding officers at the General Staff of the Armed Forces has tried to establish communications with commanders of military bases in Crimea so as to put forward combat tasks for them.

Tenyukh’s activity was qualified at the “highest state level” as high treason.

“It is said along with this that commanders not only in Crimea but in the units of the Armed Forces in all other parts of Ukraine refuse to fulfill Tenyukh’s orders,” the MP added.

Avtalet kommer att behandlas av IMF:s styrelse i april efter att Ukraina inlett reformer för att stabilisera ekonomin och skapa villkor för en stabil tillväxt. Ett av villkoren är att Ukraina höjer priser på gas för befolkningen.

Att skriva under ett avtal med IMF var en av motprestationerna som EU krävde för att den nya regimen skulle få ta del av ett annat stödpaket på motsvarande 98 miljarder kronor från Bryssel.

Att våra så kallat borgerliga politiker handlar utan insikt och förnuft borde vi lärt av historien. Några så urbota dumma som dessa politiker av 1914 och 1938 och 2014 vore svårt för mig att skapa som trovärdiga dramatiska eller litterära figurer. Statsledande kretiner är alltför milt. Och för att hitta på något så sniket (om sina befattningar och löner och intressen) som de socialdemokratiska politikerna i Tyskland 1914 – eller de svenska när det gäller kolonialkrigen i Afghanistan eller Libyen - skulle krävas en Dante. Han som satte sina samtids figurer i Inferno. Någon Per Albin Hansson som medvetet skickligt kan hålla landet utanför detta kommande krig ser jag inte i Sverige nu. Någon verkligt traditionskonservativ röst (som Marine Le Pen i Frankrike, Rodney Atkinson i Storbritannien och Henry Kissinger i Förenta staterna) syns heller inte till i Sverige. Och vänstern bara flummar.
