Det verkar vara ett problem med drivrutinen till Creatives webbkameror. Jag hittade en workaround här:

Open the video chat window without connecting your camera, leave it
disconnected. Right click and choose the Shockwave settings. On the
last tab click the camera icon on the box that appears. The camera
adapter chosen will be like Goggle Camera Adapter 0 but you want to
click on the arrow for the dropdown menu and change it to the camera
that you are actually using. I did that with XP SP 2 Creative Live!
Cam Notebook VF0250 Firefor 3, Chrome, IE 7, it worked on
everything!!! No more crashing and can also use creative live cam
console.
