"This tool" is a link to my comment history. I have been on Youtube since 2006 (different account; still active). Is it normal that Youtube expect users to not know how to find their comment history (because that comes off as insulting)? I didn't ask how to find my comment history... WHICH comment is it that YOU/Youtube/Google have issues with? I'm supposed to guess? Sorry but I don't get paid by Youtube/Google so if you want my help you need to be more specific. I'm not going to sort through my comments to try to guess what some random person, that may or may not exist, MIGHT take issue with.

If you want to do something good for the site then you should return dislikes immediately and unban the political channels of my country you handed out bans to in the past (they're saying that Youtube is not a serious business partner; since you're not providing me with information so far I'm inclined to believe them). Besides that you should also fix the issue with comments not saving (I've been reporting this for months). You should also remove the filter you currently have in place to double-check if comments are "offensive". I don't care if people take offense; that's THEIR problem.

If you want me to provide you with specific feedback and my take on what I've said then you need to tell me exactly what "members of the community" found problematic. Have you considered that these mysterious "members" you refer to might be WRONG (unless they're not made up) or, if they're made up by average users, that they're trolling you (considering how Youtube is devolving at an alarming rate and alternate host sites are getting better; this might be a way to speed up the process. Maybe they have people on the inside)?

I see comments I disagree with on Youtube every day... Should I report them all citing my own "worry" as a reason?

That's the corporate answer I'd expect. I don't know if I believe that though sorry. It seems obvious to me that Youtube doesn't listen much to user feedback (otherwise why remove dislikes in the first place? Why force Google+ on people a few years back?) so instead it just came out as a badly veiled, indirect threat towards my account. What IS your outreach designed to do? Because since you provide me with no information it's completely useless isn't it?

I don't feel safe with communists or socialists on the platform (communism/socialism has led to 100+ million deaths historically after all). Furthermore I don't feel safe with mainstream media channels/providers of fake news on the platform (considering how often they get things wrong and then don't admit to it). I also don't feel safe with religious users on the platform. When can I expect Youtube to shut down every single late night host's channel along with CNN's and MSNBC's official channels AND all christian and islamic channels to make me feel safer? When can I expect you to censor others to spare my feelings?

I think you and I both know that the above is another lie. I don't think Youtube cares about the average user because if that was true then it would still be possible to downvote these channels (note that I never used the dislike button much, I prefer to not interact at all with crap, but a search provider REMOVING INFORMATION is a concern so now I'm more prone to leave negative comments instead). From "broadcast yourself" and "don't be evil" to whatever this is...

For when it comes to your question, I don't have ALL the specific comment(s) that were of concern to the community. As creators also have access to delete them. However , in the exercise of transparency, I can share one of them with you:

That said, this is really just a reminder that words have an impact, so please help keep comments respectful and YouTube safe for everyone!

I believe that this is "corporate speak" and that you don't "get it" at all and I don't think you really want my honest feedback. I think Youtube made a mistake here (one of countless) and is now trying to twist it and blame it all on me instead of owning up to it.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, and I didn't already know that Youtube ignores my feedback regularly, I'd assume that this was an "ass-backwards" way of ensuring that more people like myself provide you with feedback. To gaude them into responding by insulting them/writing silly and useless emails to harass users, that otherwise wouldn't care, in an organized effort to "rile them up" en masse)?

And what is the issue with that provided comment (since you don't give me anything else)? I see a harmless joking comment made after seeing the weak current US president take directions by a person dressed up as the easter bunny(!). I'm repeating myself but what is the exact issue? I can't read your mind...

^Well thank you for reminding me (though I don't believe I ever asked for a reminder. This is you giving me an unsolicted "reminder" about something I already know. That's quite insulting). I'd be happy to help you with keeping Youtube respectful and safe for everyone though but I don't see that as possible when there are people with conflicting political- and/or religious views in the world for example.

How would you go about keeping it safe for everyone? Ban half of your userbase? Two thirds of it? Removing comments completely (logical next step after removing dislikes and emboldening scammers, terrorists and the like)? Surely, in the interest of public safety, because ideas are being spread in the videos as well, the best route for you to take would be to just shut the site down completely? Or maybe you could just stop hosting videos on it and just make it a fully black background with a rolling banner that tells people to "wear helmets" and "don't forget to breathe" and more useful advice along those lines? I have plenty of ideas but Google/Youtube doesn't pay me for my time. Would you be willing to pay me a consulting fee?

English is not my first language, so maybe I didn't understand you correctly, but since it seems you're suggesting that I was NOT being respectful(?) what sort of an impact did my comment have (surely Youtube weighed that carefully against contacting me in the first place)? Again what's the issue with it? What sort of (seemingly arbitrary) decision making process led to Youtube contacting me? How does my comment jeopardize the safety of whoever decided that this was worthy of reporting to you (mental safety? If so your obvious first step should've been to IP-ban THEM so that they don't happen to stumble onto anything that may offend them, and cause irreversible damage to their psyche, on your site in the future (to hark back to the "shut the site down"-solution)?

For that matter, out of curiosity, if you truly believe words have such impact why did Youtube write me in the first place? How did you think YOUR words would impact ME? Do you believe that YOUR words DON'T have an impact? If you believe that they in fact do would you guess that the impact of your words have affected me positively or negatively? If you don't know surely the logical plan of action would be to simply NOT contact me in the first place?

And a final question... Did you also write to the person(s) who reported my comment in the first place and suggest to him/her/them that he/she/they should seek professional psychiatric help? If not shouldn't that have been your first course of action?
