Har suttit några timmar och surfat för att få klarhet i om "200 000" bör anses som tryckfel.
Här ett plock bland "fynden":

Citat:
22 years later, after most of the remaining 250,000 Polish Jews had already left, events persuaded the remainder to leave.

Citat:
By the end of 1968, two-thirds of Poland's Jews had been driven into emigration.

Det framgår inte hur många individer "the remainder" innebär.

Citat:
To conclude: if out of 300 000 Polish Jews - I?m talking here about the citizens of post-war Poland who survived (four fifths of them in the Soviet Union, one fifth in hiding, in guerilla units or in the German camps) - if out of these people over 200 000 left Poland during the first three years after the war, it means that, from the very beginning, the majority of Polish Jews did not want to build communism in Poland

Citat:
Trybuna Ludu said 13,000 Jews left Poland from 1968 to 1971 after Jews were attacked in the press, denounced at party and factory meetings and dismissed from jobs and official posts. Unofficial estimates put the exodus at up to 20,000. Estimates of the number of Jews remaining in Poland are do not run much above 10,000

"200 000" torde vara räknat från krigsslutet.

"13 000-20 000 (tom 40 000)" gälde åren 1968-1971.
