Skriver ett brev som beskriver mina erfarenheter av functional auditory hallucinations och har stora problem med översättningen av ordet stämma.
"In schizophrenia, functional hallucinations are defined as those that occur when a patient simultaneously receives a real stimulus in the perceptual field concerned (e.g., hallucinated voices heard simultaneously with—and specific to—the real sound of running water)"
Detta upplevs som att den inre röstens stämma ersätts av ett yttre ljud, vilket jag översätter till följande: "the vocal of my inner voice is substituted by an external sound".
Om jag skriver sound i stället för vocal, vilket kanske känns mer naturligt, blir det fel eftersom den svenska betydelsen då är " den inre röstens ljud ersätts av ett yttre ljud". Detta är fel eftersom jag endast syftar på röstens stämma och inte de mer verbala aspekterna. Har funderat på att skriva tune, men kanske är också detta fel?
Försöker få folk att förstå genom att skriva följande: "Before you read this it is important that you know that I´m not used to express myself in english and when I write vocal in this letter I mean the sound you produce when you press air through your vocal cords and they start to vibrate with a certain frequency. When I write vocal I only mean this and not the more verbal aspects of overt and covert speech(when of course you only imagine this sound which is included in your inner voice). Well now you know what I mean with vocal and you may fill in another word when you read if vocal is wrong. If you don´t include verbal aspects sound( or tune?) might be a better word, but I don´t know for sure. (It would mean a lot to me if somebody wanted to help me with this and other problems that make it harder to understand what I mean.)"
Eftersom brevet, också utan ett felaktigt ordval, är lite krångligt, vore jag mycket tacksam om någon kunde hjälpa mig lite med detta.
