I mitt tidigare inlägg spånade jag om det att jag har en känsla av att ett NATO-ingripande kanske är på gång. Vi har den stora NATO-övningen på gång:
Exercise Air Defender 2023 (AD23) is a German-led, multinational exercise focusing on operational and tactical-level live-flying and will take place across Germany from June 12-24, 2023.
AD23 involves Air Forces from 24 Nations and 220 aircraft. The German Air Force ensures command and control of air operations during the exercise. It will be combined in time and space with the German-led Multinational Air Group Exercise (MAGDAYS 23) and linked to two NATO exercises (RAMSTEIN DUST 23 and RAMSTEIN GUARD 23).

I am sure there was a perfect reason for sending one third of a Ukrainian Battalion into a known Russian minefield, without air, artillery, or infantry cover and lose eleven armored vehicles one by one in the “probing attack” vs. the Zaporizhzhia village of Novodarivka on Sunday.
Of course, I'm the last to criticize the strategy of the Ukrainian army. I'm just curious as for what might have been the reason to sacrifice so many vehicles and soldiers for getting nothing, but the unsurprising insight that "the Russian defense is strong in that region”.

After a truly massive art treatment (not a red word, it was really tough - with the participation of "Himmers") 4 columns advanced to our defense line - each of which had 25/30 pieces of equipment.
The armored groups were divided into pairs, each headed by 4/5 tanks - on / in the rest of the equipment - infantry. Most of the tanks were blown up in minefields - those that were able to move on were waiting for our ATGMs.
Yes, the neo-Nazis managed to break through to two of our positions, which before that were simply ruined by artillery. Of course, we have losses, beat, repeat, tight and hard. Therefore, individual groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to jump on them.
The bulk of the enemy infantry was dispersed by our return fire. Some tanks had to literally be driven through the fields in the dark. The main thing is that the soldiers of the Russian Army did not lose their heads, behaved as collectedly as possible and gave a concrete rebuff. The enemy scattered began to roll back. Some groups still remain at our borders.
Let's sum up the night: our optimism is still restrained. Attacks and rolls of equipment will resume. Artillery fire is sure to intensify. We didn't let ourselves be crushed. Sell too. The boys who repelled this night counterattack are undeniable Heroes.

I övrigt ser det mörkt ut med stora förluster för Ukraina. Så om NATO någonsin ska ingripa är nu ett utmärkt tillfälle att göra det.
