Sagt och gjort, det här är kopian av det mail jag fick som svar på min fråga, ”hur man som medborgare av ett annat land tar värvningen i Usa:s armé,” svaren är på engelska.
Thank you for your interest in the United States Army.
The basic qualifications for enlistment include being from 17 to 34 years old for the Regular Army (active) and 17 to 39 years old for the Army Reserves, be a U.S. citizen or resident alien, (must have the I-551) have a high school diploma or equivalent, be single with no children or married with 2 or less children, pass the ASVAB test and the physical. You could also not be undergoing any civil actions; certain law violations will disqualify you.
The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) can provide you with information on obtaining Legal U.S. Residency; go to
http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/residency/index.htm. Army regulations prohibit us from assisting or sponsoring you in to the United States. Once you have an I-551 (green card), you can pursue enlistment.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Samantha Galui
