En korsning mellan golden och (stor)pudel lär ha ytterst allergivänlig päls. Används bla av vissa barnsjukhus som en vandrande lekkamrat. Minuset är att den är lagom vacker.
Myt. Wally Conron (som var den veterinär som "skapade" begreppet) hävdar att den eventuella allergivänligheten är olika mellan olika individer även i dessa korsningar, precis som den är hos tex pudel eller bichon. Finns ingen garanti utan man får pröva sig fram.

Men... om man nu vill ha en "allergivänlig" hund som inte är jätteliten så får man testa pudelkorsningarna. Om man nu inte vill ha en storpudel.. Men det finns aldrig några garantier.
