Citat:
That there within darkness are great many conflicts, are hardly news to anyone paying attention. The path of darkness is not a path of selfdelusions nor of docil adherence to the ideals of the group and we learn that the world is of a far greater darkness then we ever could’ve imagined. Through this realization we also come to understand that there is a light in the darkness. The light of selfunderstanding. But just as the light of knowledge is present,so it should be remembered that everything is a lie. There is no light. There is also no statement of such. There is a silent knowledge of the self and the world through meditation, with the potential of being maniested. Through exploring the darkest recesses of our psyche, to build an invisible foundation of glas upon which further structures can be built.
This invisible foundation is as treacherous as the statement that this is a lie. The silent knowledge of books, of meditation and the experiences from others are dangerous. While we can learn through these medias there is something that is lacking. What we need and thrive within is the concept of conflict. Coflict is easier to put into words but at the same time the dark adepts will have their own ideas of what conflict entails. Or perhaps even more so, what it does not entail. Conflict could be broken down into two primary spheres. Perhaps more depending on how deep it is explored upon.
To begin exploring the spheres of conflict, i will first explore the realm of internal conflits. How many times have we not had the need or desire for something burn so strongly within that we would be willing to go as far as it would take to have this itch of a desire satisfied? The gods know that i have. But when push comes to shove, we are often faced with an internal conflict. Is this worth it? Will i Be able to live with the consequence of what i did and the price of those actions? What do we feel within when we are challenged? When we are shown that we have spent years building something useless, only to have it torn down before our eyes in a blink of a frightening second of realization.
This internal conflict does hardly have to come in the package of epic proportions. Instead it can take on the appearance of small mundane matters. But these are not to be ignored or cast away for their lack of apparent greatness. The internal conflict always touches the issue of being able to press ourselves out of our so pleasant comfortzones and into the unsheltered world where anything can happen. Either by our own device through the knowledge of the dark huntsman or through the whims of a cold and frozen world where the dark student simply is ill equipped to become the dominant force in their own lives.
The second sphere of conflict is the external conflict which i enjoy experimenting with. This one teaches us more then we sometimes care to acknowledge. We engage in discussions and actions that ignite thoughts, opinions and eventually a form of response. Through conflict we can engage in heated discussions where opinions and beliefs are confronted with one another. Here they are challenged, disected, turned outside in and then put back together to discover if arguments and positions are solid enough to handle scrutiny and even put into an practical application. To see if they are constructs that are of use in our selfcreating efforts or cast away as a dulled sword.
To see how well it can stand against the battering of the philosophical and forceful actions of others. Conflict, being a typical dark tool, is uncomfortable. It is unnerving and frightening. It puts us in a position where we are challenged. It pushes us out into the light more often then not and forces us to face the bullshit we claim to stand for. Just as we force others. Perhaps the word force is an overkill here, as not everyone is capable of seeing trough the smoke screens and masks of others and even less so those of our own making. Who want to admit we have failed? That we are failures? Seeing the true face behind the mask is conflict. It brings pain. it brings doubt. It burns our spirit as deep as a fire would burn our flesh. Yet, it comes with the potential of a spiritual seed being sown. The potential to change. To reshape ourselves, to learn from our errors.
For those weak of spirit, character and foundation – conflict is to be avoided. Barring the need to avoid attention, conflict is the interaction that challenges
Ideas and perspectives. Not everyone can handle this. Somenavoid conflict in all its forms. They seek simple answers. Answers so generic they can be seen as true in any light. They blindly follow in the footsteps of others and questions nothing for the fear of beqing wrong or not really have the answers they think they do.
This is not the dark way. Question everything. Ask every question. “Dont be afraid of answers, only be afraid to run out of questions”. Take nothing for granted.
