I denna tråd tipsar vi varandra om miniserier, jag börjar.

Mycket bra serie där vi får följa två familjers öden. Serien skildrar det vidriga folkmordet på Amerikas ursprungsbefolkning på ett mycket korrekt sätt. Denna serie är mycket sevärd och väldigt berörande. Jag ger den betyget 9/10

Också en mycket bra serie om en Brittisk styrman vars skepp förliser på det feodala Japans kust och besättningen blir tillfångatagen av de lokala samuraierna. Styrmannen blir vald att tala för besättningen och vi får följa hans resa i det Japanska feodala samhället, jag har för mig att serien utspelar sig på 1600 talet.
Denna serie får också betyget 9/10.

Band of Brothers ( år 2001, 10 delar, 9.6 imbd)

Berättelsen om Easy Company som baserar sig på Stephen E. Ambroses bestseller om det 506:e regementet vid den 101:a luftburna divisionen av USA:s armé. Vi får följa dem från deras träning i Georgia 1942 till Nazi-Tysklands fall.

Band of brothers är ju helt klart i topp när det gäller miniserier.

Jag kan rekommendera en som många kanske missat, den heter GUN och är i 3 delar från 1997 med bla. James Gandolfini som huvudperson i en av delarna.

Chiefs (1983)

This series tells the story of a southern town's police chiefs and the serial murderer who confounds them. Will Henry Lee is the first chief, an easygoing man who works to establish the position while the murderer begins his havoc. The second is a violent racist who stumbles about his job as the murderer continues his. Tyler Watts is the final chief in the story, an African-American cop who must deal with the virulent racism of his community while he puts together the pieces to finally bring the murderer to justice.
