Nu ikväll har inget synts pga. snöstorm, tyvärr. Men jag läste på huvudsidan och där stod det följande:

Citat:
The Neumayer station has three web cams. One is located at the telecommunication radome and points in south eastern direction at the station and its ramp to the basement garage. Another web cam is mounted on the roof of the station and looks to the south and the third web cam ist 20 km north of the station at the shelf ice coast. The cameras are highly sensitive double sensor devices with night mode. The colour sensor is working with normal daylight and the camera switches to a black and white sensor when the light is too weak. Since these sensors each have their own objective lenses, their pictures do not coincident and during switching a shift is noticeable. The web cams switch automatically between the two modes and choose the optimum exposure time depending on the brightness. Due to the high sensitivity of the cameras, direct moon light and spotlight from the station appear much brighter. On the station's roof several spotlights are mounted that serve observational and signal purposes. Reflections in the optical system create light spots and rings in the picture. During polar night the only thing in the sky that is moving through the picture is the moon at times when it is visible behind the station. Although the sun is not rising, the bright twilight can appear as daylight and can make the web cam switch to colour mode. Thanks to the high sensitivity the web cams are able to display even weak light sources such as stars, polar lights, and clouds at night. The web cam pictures can be affected by fog, snow drift and icing.
