Hej,

Ni som har HTC Hero eller liknande modeller och har problem med synkning mellan telefon och pc, använd följande instruktion för att få det att fungera.



The HTC Sync application is contained on the supplied SD Memory card

Locating the Installation File

1. Connect the handset to the computer using the supplied USB cable
2. Drag down the Notifications Bar and select the USB connected Icon

3. Tap Mount
4. The device will now connect as a USB Mass Storage device
5. On the computer, Click Start and select My Computer (Computer on Vista)
6. Double click on the New Storage drive.
7. Double Click on the PC Sync tool folder.
8. Double Click on the HTC Sync executable.
9. The installShield Wizard will start.
Installation Process

1. Once the InstallShield wizard has started, Click Next.
2. Click OK on the Pop Up box.
3. Read the HTC Software License Terms, if you agree, select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.
4. Select Complete and click Next
5. Click Install.
6. The Files will now be installed, once complete, click Finish.
The HTC Sync software is now installed.


Connecting the device for the 1st Time

1. If the device is already connected, unplug and re-connect it.
2. Drag down the Notifications bar and select HTC Sync.
3. The device will now connect to the computer, this may take a few minutes
4. Once Connected the Phone Connection Wizard will appear on the PC, click Next.
5. Enter a Name for your device and click Finish.
6. If prompted about the Date & Time, select the required option and click OK.
7. The HTC Sync Application will be displayed.
The device is now successfully connected.


Troubleshooting :

Option 1 :

1. Installed Sync
2. No antivirus
3. Settings
Applications
Development
USB Debugging (this option must be selected)
4. Switch off the device
Press the back key and switch on the device again
5. Connect again


If still not working:


With the HTC sync installed

Once you have received these files, they will need to be unzipped,

Unzipping the drivers:

1. Save the zip file Attachment to the desktop.
2. Double click on the Zip file on the desktop.
3. Click Extract all files from the left Menu.

4. Click Next.
5. Click Browse.

6. Select Desktop at the top of the list and click Make New Folder
7. Enter Drivers for the folder name and click OK.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Finish.
The 4 driver files will be displayed:
• Androidusb.cat
• Androidusb.inf
• Androidusb.sys
• WdfCoInstaller01007.dll
10. Close the window.


Installing the driver in Windows XP

1.Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. Ensure the Control Panel is in Classic View and Double Click on System.
3. Select the Hardware tab and click the Device Manager button.
4. The Device manager Screen will open
5. Connect the USB Cable to the computer and the Device.
6. On the device, drag down the Notification Bar and select HTC Sync.
7. On the PC, the Device manager will refresh (flicker) and after a few second an ADB device will appear under Other devices.
If the Hardware Update Wizard starts, please skip to step 9
8. Right Click on the ADB Device and select Update Driver
9. The Hardware Update Wizard will show, select No, not this time and click next
10. Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click next
11. Ensure Include this location in the search is the ONLY box selected and click Browse.

12. Select the Drivers Folder and click OK.
13. Click Next
14. The Driver files will now be installed
15. Click Finish.
16. The Phone connection Wizard will start.
NOTE: It is important that the Same USB Port is used on the computer every time the device is connected.

The Drivers updates are now installed.
