RT skriver om banditer och en del av deras fuffens i Ukraina, här har man tydligen lyckats stjäla vapen från fronten.

"Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) has announced the transfer of weapons worth about $100,000 confiscated from an alleged smuggling ring to the notorious Azov Corps.

The cache, including about 17,000 rounds of ammunition, grenades, single-shot anti-tank grenade launchers, land mines and other weapons, according to the Ukrainian agency, was handed over this week, having been seized in May.

A criminal group had used a humanitarian vehicle to transport the weapons stolen from the front line to Ivano-Frankivsk Region in Western Ukraine, the DBR has alleged."

RT skriver om att Ukraina har speciella skolor för föräldralösa barn till bland annat stupade soldater.

"The Ukrainian government has set up five boarding schools for children whose parents were killed, went missing, or were left disabled in the conflict with Russia, preparing them for careers in the country’s military service, The Washington Post has reported.

The newspaper gained access to one of the institutions for a report published on Monday, describing the two-year boarding schools as “part grief counseling and part boot camp,” effectively sealing the fate of the vulnerable children.

“[The] school puts them into a funnel toward the Ukrainian security services that are desperate for recruits, along with hundreds of other cadets at new government academies devoted to the still-young children of fallen fighters,” the article reads."

RT skriver att Ukraina vill ha vapenvila för att kunna förstärka sina förband.

"Without Western financial aid, Ukraine would have already faced a financial catastrophe; however, it continued to exist. Despite occasional disruptions, major industrial facilities remained operational, as did the small and medium-sized businesses that supported them – suppliers, transport companies, various outsourced services, construction and repair crews, and so on. Cafes, restaurants, the telecommunications sector, and small businesses stayed open. Ukraine’s robust logistics sector remained active. The government collected taxes from all these businesses.

However, in spring 2026, Ukraine decided to force Russia to conclude a truce by starting a ‘war on cities’ – large-scale strikes on the Russian rear. It first targeted oil refining and export facilities, and then the civilian sector, including the warehouses of companies such as Wildberries and Ozon."

"Ukrainian strikes on Black Sea oil and grain exports gave Russia a pretext to respond in kind and effectively block Ukraine’s shipping in the Black Sea. As with strikes on warehouses, Russia maintained the upper hand in the escalation. There are several reasons for this: Russia’s increased firepower, the depletion of Ukrainian air defenses, and more broadly, Ukraine’s smaller size, its lack of strategic geographic depth, and fewer targets within the country. While the ‘war on cities’ affected Russia as well, Ukrainian strikes did not cause the same amount of damage."

"All this prompted Zelensky to propose a truce. What he actually proposed was returning to the way things were before this year’s escalation, and pretending like it never happened. But does he really want a truce? It may look that way. After all, the Ukrainian economy – and consequently the Ukrainian state itself – is beginning to disintegrate; Ukraine’s key exports – its only source of revenue aside from foreign aid – have been effectively destroyed. For the first time in history, steel production in Ukraine has come to a complete halt; restarting it would take months if not years. By all accounts, the country is facing the most difficult winter yet. If this is not grounds for making political concessions, then what is?"

"Zelensky’s calls for a truce are accompanied by opposing statements. One moment, he demands a “winter package” of weapons from Trump; the next, he declares that the war will not end until Crimea is “liberated.” Domestically, he is intensifying the crackdown on the Russian language and the Orthodox Church, even though this only heightens tensions within Ukrainian society. Clearly, given these parameters, Russia will never agree to a ceasefire. So is it all just schizophrenia or a calculated move?"

"As long as there remains hope for Russia’s defeat, nothing else matters. Ukraine wants to either freeze the conflict along the line of contact and prepare to take revenge later, or fight to the bitter end. Russia understands this very well; that is why it has once again rejected any idea of a partial truce – this was recently expressed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the UN, and then by Putin. Even though this year, Russia was seriously affected by Ukrainian strikes, Moscow is only open to ending the conflict on its own terms."

"What comes next? Both sides are actively preparing for the winter campaign, and it appears that, for the first time since the start of the conflict, long-range air strikes (the war on cities) will become the primary theater of operations. Moscow is confident that the Ukrainian army cannot inflict strategic damage on Russia; consequently, its only option is to maintain escalation dominance by responding to the Ukrainian strikes with even more powerful attacks. Under these circumstances, there can be no talk of either an energy truce or freezing the conflict along the line of contact. "

South Front rapporterar om data kriget. Några urklipp.

"The strategic progression has been deliberate and sequential. First came strikes on military production facilities and logistics warehouses. Then the focus shifted to isolating Odessa’s port and dismantling heavy industry. Now, the primary targets are data centers and telecommunications infrastructure. Between September 20 and 28, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes against Kyiv’s data storage, processing, and transmission facilities."

"What made the Kyiv strikes additionally notable was the technology used to document them. Zelenskyy’s technology adviser, known by the callsign Flash, described footage that appeared online: “The Russians filmed the strike on the Inkom business center using a jet-powered Geran drone that simultaneously served as a MESH relay for a Geran-5 and transmitted live video of the attack. After that, the drone flew out of Kyiv and struck a McDonald’s warehouse.” The operational integration of strike capability and real-time reconnaissance into a single airframe represents a meaningful evolution in Russian drone warfare."

"Destroying factories degrades Ukraine’s capacity to fight. Destroying the internet degrades Ukraine’s capacity to hold together. Russia appears to have concluded that both objectives are worth pursuing simultaneously."

China Daily rapporterar om Putins svar på Ukrainas upptrappning av kriget. Saxat ur artikeln.

"MOSCOW/KYIV — Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that an escalation of tensions would not achieve the outcome sought by Kyiv and could only worsen the situation in Ukraine.

"They must understand that no provocative acts or escalation of tensions will deliver the outcome they seek," Putin said at a news briefing. "Such moves will only make the situation worse for them."

Russia's military responses had prompted Kyiv to seek ceasefire arrangements covering several areas, including attacks on energy facilities and airstrikes, he said.

Putin said Russia has begun responding to what he described as actions taken by Ukraine, including an alleged bid to impose a naval blockade and strikes on storage facilities and civilian infrastructure."

SCMP rapporterar att Ryssland stärker sina militära styrkor.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Monday boosting the size of the army by 15,500 troops in the fourth such order this year.

Putin’s order comes as both Russia and Ukraine suffer mounting casualties in the more than 4½-year Ukraine war.

The decree did not give a reason for the troop increase.

“The authorised personnel strength of the Russian armed forces is to be set at 2,441,630 units, including 1,550,500 military personnel,” the decree said."

SCMP skriver att Syd Korea är mycket irriterat på Ukraina.

"An escalating diplomatic row over Ukraine’s disclosure of a North Korean prisoner-of-war transfer is threatening to jeopardise South Korea’s future ties with and support for Kyiv, analysts say, even as it hands fresh ammunition to the political opposition in Seoul.
South Korea’s presidential official issued a statement late on Sunday demanding an official explanation and apology for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s disclosure about the POWs at last week’s UN General Assembly.
Seoul said it was reviewing additional measures in response to the “unilateral disclosure”, which analysts said could mean suspending some forms of support for Ukraine – though no such action had yet been confirmed.

This Week in Asia has contacted the Ukrainian embassy in Seoul for comment."

Rybar på Telegram återger "Two Majors" sammanfattning av dagen.

"⚡️Two Majors #Summary for the morning of September 29, 2026

▪️ The previous day was characterized by a small number of enemy UAVs during the day: from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Moscow time, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed only 14 Ukrainian UAVs of the aircraft type over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, and Oryol regions, the Crimean Peninsula, and over the Black Sea.

▪️The Russian Armed Forces launched a new series of long-range strikes across Ukraine overnight. The enemy reports explosions in Kiev, Kharkov, and Kirovograd. In Kiev, air raid alerts were accompanied by several explosions, with Ukrainian channels reporting the use of ballistic missiles and continued movement of attack UAVs. The day before, the enemy reported a UAV strike on an administrative building in Dnepro.

▪️ In the Bryansk region, the intensity of drone attacks remains high. As a result, a total of 28 railway cars were derailed.

▪️ On the Sumy direction, the "North" Group of Forces reports further advances by Russian units. Fighting is ongoing near Kiyanitsa and Khotyn in the Sumy district. Ulanovo has been taken in the Shostkinsky district. Advances continue in the area of Tolsto Dubovo. Heavy fighting is taking place near Stepka in the Krasnopolsky district. Aviation, artillery, and UAV units struck in the areas of Sumy, Khotyn, Kiyanitsa, Malaya and Velikaya Rybitsa, TolstoDubovo. Russian pressure remains on three separate sections, preventing the enemy from concentrating reserves solely on the approaches to Sumy.

▪️ In the Kursk region, the enemy continued UAV attacks. In the Glushkovsky district, a 61-year-old woman was injured after a drone struck the village of Glushkovo.

▪️ In the Belgorod region, in Graivoron, an administrative building, a commercial facility, and cars were damaged. In Smorodino and Zamostye, private homes were damaged. In the Shebekinsky district, strikes hit cars, a private home, and two social facilities in Shebekino, Voznesenovka, and Novaya Tavolzhanka. The main nature of the attacks remains the same: FPV drones are targeting transport and infrastructure along the border, while long-range UAVs are attempting to penetrate deeper into the region.

▪️ On the Kharkov direction, the heaviest fighting continues in the northeast of the region. According to the "North" Group of Forces, Russian units have advanced near Alisovka and Vysokaya Yaruga in the Liptovsky district. In the Velikoburluk direction, advances of up to 500 meters have been reported in the areas of Kredyanka and Kolodezne. In the Volchansky district, the "North" Group of Forces reports that a Ukrainian armored group, supported by a tank, attempted to break through from the area of Nefedovka but was repelled. Strikes were carried out in the areas of Kharkiv, Khatnoye, Ivashkov, Konstantinovka, Revolyutsionnoye, Slobozhanskoye, Rublenoye, Shestakovo, Varvarovka, Nestertsevo, and Ternovoye. Pressure is being applied simultaneously on several sections in the northeast of the region.

Kharkov direction

▪️ In the DPR, fighting continues on the Dobropolskoye direction. Russian units are targeting enemy command posts and launch sites for heavy UAVs in the area of Dobropolye.

▪️ In the LNR, one civilian was killed and three were wounded as a result of Ukrainian UAV attacks in the past 24 hours. A UAV attacked a car on the Lugansk-Alchevsk road, a light vehicle was hit in the Troitsk district, and a residential area was targeted in Lysychansk. Strikes were recorded on residential and utility infrastructure, as well as transport in several municipalities.

▪️ On the Krasnolimansky direction, the situation continues to deteriorate. The enemy is conducting counterattacks and attempting to push Russian units back beyond Zherebets. According to reports from the area, Ukrainian groups are entering Zarechnoye from several directions, and heavy fighting is ongoing for Yampol. The Russian foothold west of Zherebets has shrunk. South of Zherebets, the enemy is also counterattacking in the area of Rai-Alexandrovka. The current task is not to advance towards Lyman, but to stabilize the front and hold the remaining positions west of the river. This remains one of the most problematic sections of the front.

▪️ On the Kupyansk direction, heavy fighting continues in the urban area and on the approaches to it. There has been no significant confirmed change in the line of contact in the past 24 hours. The enemy is trying to block Russian small groups and disrupt their supply lines, while the Russian side is trying to expand and connect separate areas of presence.

▪️ On the Druzhkovka direction, the enemy launched a series of counterattacks, attempting to stabilize the front south of Druzhkovka. According to reports from the area, Ukrainian infantry unsuccessfully attacked through Alexeevka-Druzhkovka, attempting to regain positions in the settlement itself, near Kurtovka, and at Khrushchev Pond. Counterattacks also took place in the areas of Raiskoye, Petrovka, Toretsk, and Novonikolaevka. There has been no significant change in the line of contact in the past 24 hours, and Alexeevka-Druzhkovka and Kurtovka remain zones of mutual engagement. The very fact of forced counterattacks indicates that the enemy is trying to prevent further expansion of the Russian salient towards Druzhkovka.

▪️ On the Zaporozhye direction, units of the "East" Group of Forces continue to put pressure on the northern section. According to reports from the area, Russian units have advanced west of Zorevka, west of Rovnoye, and have established new strongholds near Kopany. Heavy fighting continues for Stepnogorsk and in the Orekhovsky direction, where Russian units are putting pressure on the areas of Malaya Tokmachka and Chervona Krynitsa. The task remains the same: to stretch enemy reserves between several sections and prevent them from establishing a strong defense around Orekhovo.

▪️ On the Kherson direction, there have been no significant changes in the line of contact. Mutual artillery and UAV fire continues across the Dnipro River. Russian units are striking at positions, UAV command posts, and transport on the right bank, while the enemy continues to attack settlements on the left bank.
