UAE banks block payments from Russian companies for Chinese equipment due to risks of secondary sanctions

The mother of a conscript from Moscow Oblast, who serves in the 290th Missile Regiment (military unit 93876) in Mari El, told ASTRA that her son was forced to sign a contract and go to Kursk Oblast.

“My son called and said that the command had already compiled lists for sending conscripts to Kursk Oblast. They answer all their questions: this is Russian territory and you must defend it. He has been serving since May of this year. He also said that everyone is being persuaded to sign contracts,” Olga (name changed) tells ASTRA.

Earlier, journalist from Ivanovo Alexey Mashkevich, whose son was also called up for military service in the spring, wrote on his social networks that his son would soon be sent to Kursk Oblast. We are talking about conscripts from the 217th regiment of the 98th airborne division.

“And what would you feel now - patriots and not - if you found out that your son, a conscript of the Airborne Forces, after the young fighter course, from Ivanovo will be sent to the Kursk region?”, Mashkevich wrote on VK.

“I understand you better than anyone, I have been unable to come to my senses after this news for 2 days... Our sons are in the same company,” one of the users replied.

“Our children are also being sent there. Conscripts from Kamenka, Leningrad region. And also after the KMB... Unfortunately, this is the reality of our life. Strength and patience. Health to my son,” another woman added.

As noted by the lawyers of the Military Advocates project, according to the law, "conscripts can be sent to perform tasks in armed conflicts (to participate in military operations)", but "this is possible only after they have served in the military for at least four months and after training in military specialties."

Earlier, relatives created a petition demanding that conscripts be withdrawn from the territory of the Kursk region, where military operations are taking place.

Hade jag levt i ett land där Svenskar lever (finns många länder) lemlästas, våldtas eller mördas, hade jag flyttat. Den saken är säker! Men nu är det inte på det sätt du försöker påstå med tanke på att de aldrig flyttade. Även den dumma förstår en sådan sak!

Intressant utveckling som inte rör sanktionerade västerländska produkter utan specifikt kinesisk elektronik. UAE har alltså stoppat transaktioner rörande kinesiska komponenter och elektronik på order av Kina. UAE viker sig för Kina och lämnar skurkstaten ryssland i sticket.
