Huruvida luft trycks ut eller inte beror naturligtvis på skrovets orientation. Om hålet sitter lågt bildas det fickor med komprimerad luft som inte kan komma ut. Sitter hålet högt kommer luften, efter den initiala chocken, naturligtvis sippra ut genom detta hål och stiga mot ytan.

Allmänna gaslagen säger oss att luftens densitet på detta djup kommer vara ungefär hälften av vattnets, så luften kommer fortfarande vilja stiga uppåt.

Om man utgår från att mojängen imploderat pga materialutmattning, felaktig ruta eller Whatever.
Vilket djup kan den ha befunnit sig på efter 1h45m? Om hela resan skulle tagit 8h totalt så kan vi anta att de lär spendera någon/några timmar runt Titanic.

Du har ingen aning om hur kryddstark den här soppan är. Det har visat sig att Stockton-Rush är en irländare som konverterat till judendom och gift sig med en blandblodad judinna som är barnbarnsbarn till några judar som dog när Titanic sjönk.

Stockton-Rush var själv svårt woke. Här är han från en intervju 2020.

"When I started the business, one of the things you'll find, there are other sub operators out there but they typically have gentleman who are ex-military submariners and you'll see a whole bunch of 50-year-old white guys," Rush told a representative with Teledyne Marine in August 2020.

"I wanted our team to be younger, to be inspirational and I'm not going to inspire a 16-year-old to go pursue marine technology but a 25-year-old you know who's a sub pilot or a platform operator or one of our techs can be inspirational," Rush continued. "So we've really tried to to get very intelligent, motivated, younger individuals involved because we're doing things that are completely new."

"We're taking approaches that are used largely in the aerospace industry, is related to safety and some of the the preponderance of checklists things we do for risk assessments and things like that, that are more aviation related than ocean related and we can train people to do that. We can train someone to pilot the sub, we use a game controller so anybody can drive the sub."

När Oceangate anställde en tråkig vit man med expertkunskap slutade det såhär:

"The report detailed "numerous issues that posed serious safety concerns," according to the filing. These included Lochridge's worry that "visible flaws" in the carbon fiber supplied to OceanGate raised the risk of small flaws expanding into larger tears during "pressure cycling." These are the huge pressure changes that the submersible would experience as it made its way and from the deep ocean floor. He noted that a previously tested scale model of the hull had "prevalent flaws."

"At the end of the meeting, after saying that he would not authorize any manned tests of Titan without a scan of the hull, Lochridge was fired and escorted from the building."

Stockton-Rush cancelade de som sade emot honom och anställde unga kvinnor och färgade istället.

Jovisst. Det är klart att de dör. Människan har ju massa hålrum som inte kan vattenfylla och dessa kommer pressas ihop. Och dessutom klarar vi inte ett så högt hydrostatiskt tryck som 380 atmosfärer.

Självklart att den imploderat, det är en prototypkonstruktion i kolfiber. Det saknas hållfasthetsdata för kolfiber, det finns ingen annan ubåt i hela världen byggd i kolfiber som man kan jämföra med. Fattar inte att man öht fick dyka med den innan det gjorts typ 100 stycken testdykningar på motsvarande djup.

Det är ändå lite komiskt att styrkontrollen kritiseras för att den inte är en specialbyggd sak för ändamålet samtidigt så kritiseras ubåten för att den är ett specialgjort bygge. Vad finns det för alternativ när det inte får vara vare sig massproducerat eller specialtillverkat?
