Ka-52: "Pew, Pew, Pew, Pew... Ok bye!"

There are a lot of people in the comments asking about why the Ka-52's and Su-25's seem to 'tilt up' when firing rockets at AFU positions.
The technique is called 'indirect fire' and NATO describes it as "Fire delivered at the target which cannot be seen by the aimer."
It is actually a well-established engagement technique used by virtually every armed heli that can carry rockets.
Depends on the type of warhead used indirect fire is an "area of fire" method that deliveres similar results as an artillery barrage, but on a smaller scale. The rockets used are probablly the S-130F which have a high-explosive fragmentation warhead (basically a mini cluster bomb) and are very effective against exposed troops, ammo/fuel depots, light armor vehicles etc...
So there you go... they are basically mini flying MLRS. A nightmare for the Ukrops.
