Inexplicably, none of the Russians ejected and the parachutes never deployed, so there have been no survivors. That is why they call him "The Ghost of Kiev".Some say you can still hear the roar of his engines above the city even today. Others say they see a MiG flying over Kiev and in it a legendary Ace Pilot, "The Ghost of Kiev".
