I came to this clinic from Norway to have a non-invasive prenatal test. I sent a reminder some days before my appointment, and they answered that it was all correct. When I arrived a nurse told me I didn't have an appointment. After showing the emails she told me to wait, and an hour later the doctor appeared. He clearly didn't have a clue how to proceed with the test, and he started to read the instructions in front of me. They took the blood samples, 5 tries in each arm because she couldn't find the vein ( first time for me, they are very visible). When I was about to pay, they told me to pay in cash (5000kr!), not with the card, so I had to run to an ATM. When I was back with the money I overhead the doctor yelling to someone about the transport of the sample. They spoke swedish, but as I speak norwegian I understood it. When I asked him if there was any problem he said no.
Three days after I received a call from the doctor in a very poor english, yelling and screaming at me that the blood was wrong and that I had to come back to Goteborg,that it was my fault (?). I started to panick, thinking my baby had something wrong, so my husband took the call. He was yelled also, and after 10 minutes he understood that the sample hadn't arrived to the lab,and that I had to come back to take another sample. We booked a bus for the next day. 30 minutes later he wrote me to say that i didn't have to come back, that is was a problem with the transport.
I was furious. Not only it was a negligence, because they didn't know how to send it, as I heard him in the phone, but where was my sample during 3 days? Refrigerated? And on top of that, he tried to put the blame on me and tried to intimidate me with the yelling.
Some days later, after not hearing from them, and they didn't answer my emails, messages and calls for the results, I had to contact the lab directly.
After several months, when I am more calm, I decided to send this because it is a very expensive test ( the test+hotel+transport+2 transport I never used), very sensitive matter ( the health of the baby) and I want to advise any other woman against doing it here.
