Hello everyone!
I’m from Germany and I’ve been interested in this case, which in my opinion is unique in Western Europe in many respects, from 2019 on and I have been fascinated at the latest since the reports about the communication with the apparent kidnappers. During the last days I collected a lot of information, read along here and published a small overview in the German forum Allmystery - not with all details, just a rough overview.

First of all, the level of discussion and the depth of facts here is indeed considerable.
What puzzles me is the question of who had a motive to carry out the crime as it was done. TH's motives are all emotional in nature and could have been sparked off by an argument about the trip to Kvitfjell. The hypothesis of a fall down the stairs is consistent with this, based on AEH's blood stains on the stairs, which have been wiped away, and the records of the Health App. All this speaks for an action out of rage and in the heat of passion.
Instead, the crime was probably planned since July, when the first transfers were made with the Bitcoin account. The threatening letter was also planned, written and printed out. So why would such a perpetrator commit a murder that potentially causes so much blood loss while at the same time trying to simulate a kidnapping with cable ties etc.?
The family situation reminds me of the Rebecca Reusch missing case in Berlin. Her brother-in-law's alibi blew after a number plate recognition system detected his car on the motorway to Poland. That was not enough for an arrest warrant though. The family stands by him.
