Hi,

My Swedish is not very good, I hope it's ok to write in English.

I have created an enskild firma some months ago because I am selling services on the Internet. I only have around 100 transactions a year and I am trying to understand how to do the accounting and the yearly statement in Visma. My revenue is around 17k before taxes. I have also been told to hire a revisor but they charge 12k every year, which is a significant part of my income.

I have heard very different stories about the dangers or convenience of trying to do the accounting on my own. Someone told me that I may end up paying very high fines if I make any mistake. How many of you have a similar kind of business and are doing the accounting yourself vs. through an accountant? What is your experience so far?

There's no need to have an auditor for enskild firma unless you turn over 3 million SEK, so you can do it on your own. But like mentioned above, it's a good idea to read tutorials online if you're unsure on the accounting.

17K/month doesnt motivate an accountan nor auditor.
